Apple has announced pricing for its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. The base model costs AED 8,499 in the UAE, while the same device is priced at more than double the US price in Turkey.

Price comparison for the 256GB iPhone Duo in three countries:

UAE: AED 8,499 ($2,314)
US: $1,999
Turkey: TRY 229,999 ($4,673)

This means Apple’s foldable iPhone costs about $315 more in the UAE than in the US, but around $2,359 less than in Turkey.

The price difference suggests that buying the iPhone Duo in the UAE could be more economical for Turkish consumers, although phone registration fees in Turkey must also be taken into account.

The device features a 7.6-inch foldable display, a 5.4-inch external screen, the powerful A20 Pro chip and a dual 48-megapixel camera system.

Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo will begin at 4pm UAE time on Friday, October 16, with official sales starting on October 23.

The listed prices are from Apple’s official store, and the US dollar conversions are based on exchange rates as of October 8, 2026. The US price excludes state sales tax.
