Sharjah Police have denied reports that the wife and child of an Asian man who died last month in a suspected murder case were missing, saying official checks confirmed that they had left the UAE and returned to their home country.

The force stressed that no official missing-person report had been filed concerning the man’s wife or child. Criminal investigation teams looked into the claims after they were circulated and established that the pair had already left the country.

Sharjah Police also provided details of the case surrounding the man’s death. Authorities initially received a report of a death in which foul play was suspected. Specialist teams examined the scene and collected relevant evidence and information. On the orders of the Public Prosecution, the body was transferred to a forensic laboratory for examination.

Police subsequently conducted search operations and gathered further evidence, saying their analysis helped establish the circumstances of the incident. Legal proceedings were then initiated against the suspects, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
