How Much Does Parking Cost in Dubai? Fees and Free Parking Hours Explained
Parkin has outlined Dubai’s current public parking tariffs. Under the pricing structure, the base hourly charge during peak hours is AED 6 in premium parking zones and AED 4 in standard zones.
According to the company, standard public parking fees apply from Monday to Saturday between 8am and 10pm. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.
Information published on Parkin’s digital platforms shows that peak hours run from 8am to 10am and from 4pm to 8pm. The periods from 10am to 4pm and from 8pm to 10pm are classified as off-peak hours.
Differences Between Premium and Standard Parking Tariffs
Under the announced pricing structure, the base hourly parking fee during peak hours is AED 6 in premium zones and AED 4 in standard zones.
During off-peak hours, the peak-hour surcharge does not apply, and parking fees are calculated according to the standard tariff for the location and type of parking space.
Parkin said the main difference between premium and standard tariffs applies during peak hours. Drivers should check the zone code and the tariff displayed at the location to confirm the exact parking fee.
Paid Parking Hours and Conditions
Parkin urged drivers to check the tariff signs at the location or the company’s official app before parking to confirm the applicable fees and paid parking hours in the area.
The company also said tariffs and paid parking hours may vary by location, while some private and designated parking facilities are subject to separate regulations.
VAT to Be Applied to Parking Tariffs
According to an earlier official notice from Parkin, 5 per cent value-added tax will apply to the company’s parking services from June 1, 2026.
As a result, a base parking fee of AED 4 will rise to AED 4.20 including VAT, while a base fee of AED 6 will increase to AED 6.30.
Drivers can use Parkin’s official app or website to view the exact tariff for each zone and check payment terms.
