Dubai property deals hit AED 11 billion last week; Palm Jumeirah apartment sells for AED 71 million
According to data from the Dubai Land Department, the value of property transactions in the emirate reached AED 11.185 billion, equivalent to about $3 billion, last week.
Sales accounted for the largest share, reaching AED 6.41 billion, equivalent to about $1.7 billion.
A total of 2,426 sales transactions were recorded in Dubai between September 21 and 25.
Most expensive property deals last week
The most expensive transactions listed on the Dubai Land Department’s website included:
An apartment at Como Residences on Palm Jumeirah sold for AED 71.2 million, equivalent to about $19.4 million.
Another apartment in the same development sold for AED 64.9 million, equivalent to about $17.7 million.
A third apartment at Como Residences sold for AED 60.9 million, equivalent to about $16.6 million.
The Dubai Land Department also reported that mortgage transactions reached AED 3.86 billion, equivalent to about $1 billion, last week.
Gift transactions during the same period were valued at AED 915 million, equivalent to about $249 million.
