Dubai is investing in an international fund to support startups offering innovative solutions for the purchase, sale, rental, construction, and management of real estate.

The Dubai Future District Fund has announced its investment in the fourth fund of MetaProp, a US-based venture capital firm that supports startups in the real estate technology (PropTech) sector. The value of the investment was not disclosed.

The partnership aims to attract innovative companies to Dubai and facilitate their growth within regional markets. These startups will have access to financial support, training, mentorship, and networking opportunities with investors and major industry stakeholders.

A specialized program is also set to be launched in Dubai, allowing selected startups to introduce their products and services to the UAE and Middle Eastern markets while raising capital to expand their operations.

The initiative specifically supports companies utilizing digital tools, artificial intelligence, and data analytics to streamline and accelerate processes related to buying, selling, renting, pricing, and property management.

Through this move, Dubai aims to strengthen its position as a leading global hub for real estate innovation and attract a greater number of international companies to the city.
