Dubai Fitness Challenge begins October 31 with free workouts at three locations across the city
The 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge will run from October 31 to November 29, 2026, offering residents and visitors hundreds of free fitness activities across the city.
The month-long event encourages participants to complete at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 consecutive days, from walking and running to cycling, group sports and fitness classes.
Launched in 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the initiative has attracted more than 16 million participants over its previous nine editions.
This year, three free fitness villages and more than 23 community fitness hubs will offer thousands of activities for different age groups and fitness levels.
Al Warqa Park: The venue features group classes, a dedicated children’s area, an obstacle course, a women-only fitness zone and gym equipment. Visitors can also use a 2.8-kilometre walking and cycling track, as well as basketball, football, volleyball, tennis and padel courts. Sports courts can be booked in advance, while bicycle rentals may incur a fee.
Zabeel Park: Located in central Dubai, this fitness village offers yoga, Pilates, boxing, mixed martial arts and high-intensity interval training classes. A three-level gym, children’s activities and basketball, cricket and padel facilities will also be available. Courts can be booked in advance.
Kite Beach: Outdoor fitness enthusiasts can take part in group classes, indoor cycling, yoga, Pilates, strength training and mixed martial arts. Beach volleyball, basketball and padel courts will also be available. Advance booking is recommended for sports courts.
Participation in the Dubai Fitness Challenge and many of its activities is free, although some services or related events may incur charges.
